Copy files easily

picdrop goes Copy & Paste!

Now you can also copy your files directly within picdrop into another gallery. That way you avoid extra uploading and can easily show the same pictures in several picdrop galleries.

You can find this function in the same place where you already used the “Move” feature. After copying a file to another gallery, it will be visible in both galleries, just like you are used to copy it to your hard disk.

Here is a step by step guide on how to use this new feature:

  • Select the files by clicking on the selection button (either one file at a time or all files via the “Select all files” button or via Cmd-A / Ctrl-A key combination). You can also select several files at once by pressing SHIFT and simultaneously drawing a frame around the desired files with the mouse pointer. You can deselect files with ALT.

  • Click on the “Move/Copy” icon at the bottom right

  • Select the tab “Copy” and choose the gallery you want to copy your pictures to.

  • Click on “Copy”.

  • Done!

Duplicating a gallery as a whole is not part of this update yet, but will follow in the future. Have fun with this new and practical feature!

As usual, we are always available for questions at hello@picdrop.com.
